About the Company: Empire Solar is a fast-growing solar energy company that works with homeowners across all of New York State, helping them switch to clean, renewable energy while lowering their electricity costs. We have also achieved Platinum Installer status from NYSERDA after earning NYSERDAs Quality Solar Installer designation for six consecutive years. Job Description: We are seeking roof-side solar installers who are physically capable, safety-focused, comfortable working at heights, can handle demanding conditions, have an open mindset, and take pride in delivering clean, high-quality work. This position is a hands-on solar installation role working directly on customer homes throughout New York State. Installers are responsible for accurately executing roof layouts, installing mounting systems and rails, managing wire routing in a clean and efficient manner, and completing roof penetrations and flashing with precision to ensure every installation is properly sealed and watertight. The work is performed onsite at customer residences, primarily on rooftops and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year. Our crews start at 7:00 AM each day and jobs are scheduled Monday through Friday, with end times varying depending on the scope and location of the project. Because Empire Solar services customers across all of New York State, some projects will be close to home and others will require extensive travel, including longer drive times to and from job sites. This is a year-round opportunity with consistent work available in every season, so were looking for individuals who are dependable, hardworking, comfortable working at heights and outdoors, and willing to be part of a team-focused environment where safety, quality, and attitude matter.
