A retired Chief MMN we recently placed spent his final tour auditing nonconformance reports for seven carriers. Today he does quality work on the cooling and power systems of mission critical facilities across the US. Same discipline. Same standards. Different uniform.
Roles: An owner's representative firm for mission critical facilities are looking to expand their Commissioning team and their Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) management team in the US.
Who are they looking fo r: Chiefs, Senior Chiefs and Master Chiefs – MM, MMN, EM, EMN, GSM, EN. LCPOs, Technical Assistants, Propulsion Plant and Engineering Watch Supervisors, QA Inspectors, Nuclear Planners, and operators of cooling and power equipment are exactly who this firm hires.
Required: Your Navy career. No civilian commissioning or Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) experience needed. Many of the firm's VPs are veterans who made this same move.
TWO WAYS IN
Quality Assurance & Quality Control – if you were the one checking the work
Think: Controlled work packages, OQE and NCR adjudication, applied to the build.
Commissioning Engineer – if you were the one running the plant
Think: System turnover inspections and casualty drills, applied to the build.
Which role is right for me? That's what the first call is for. Many Chiefs fit both, and we'll help you choose the one that suits your career.
How to apply
Send your resume as it is now, Navy terms and all. We'll translate it. Prefer to talk first? Message me directly for a 10-minute call today or tomorrow.
If you've kept systems running that couldn't afford to fail, you already have what this industry needs.
